This book is a compilation of diverse chapters and specific sections, focused on important areas of Orthobiologics. Arthritis and cartilage defects are discussed separately. Keeping in view their importance, separate sections discusses Orthobiologics in shoulder, hip, knee and the spine, covering the skeletal system comprehensively.

The contributors to this book are world and regional leaders in their specified fields, and it has been the aim of this book to make the concepts and methodology easily understood by the average orthopaedic surgeon.

About the Editor

Dr. Mandeep Singh Dhillon is the Founder President of the Indian Biologics Orthopaedic Society, and current Chairperson of Research AOTrauma Asia Pacific; he has been the President of the Indian Orthopaedic Association, Past Chairperson of AO Trauma India and Past President of Indian Arthroplasty Association, Indian Association of Sports Medicine and Indian Foot & Ankle Society.

He has authored 6 books previously, including the AO Manual on Foot and Ankle Fractures, and is the Editor of Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery (Asia Pacific) and Journal Postgraduate Medicine Education and Research and is on the Editorial Board of J SICOT, Journal of ISAKOS, J Muscles, Ligaments, Joints among others.
