Preparing Your Proposal
We would like to learn more about your book proposal. You are requested to fill in the book proposal form and share all relevant information about your book. This includes:
- Proposed title of the book
- Table of contents
- Your updated CV (with contact details)
- Detailed synopsis of the proposed book
- Description of the intended readership/target audience
- Total page count
- Tentative date of manuscript submission
- Brief Comparison of the proposed title with the bestselling books in the market
- Reviewer’s name and contact details
Publishing Process
Once we receive the detailed book proposal, the editor acknowledges and evaluates it. If the proposal fits our publishing programme, then the editor requests the authors to share a few sample chapters. The sample chapters are then analysed and subsequently sent for peer review.
Once the review process is over, the proposal is approved finally and a contract is issued to the author. The author is requested to submit the complete revised manuscript. Subsequently, the manuscript is shared with the production team where a specifically assigned Project Manager takes the manuscript through various stages of processing including copyediting, typesetting, proofs review, quality check rounds, indexing and printing. The production team works in close coordination with the author(s) throughout this process. They keep the author(s) updated about timelines and work progress at regular intervals.
