About the Author

Dr. Suresh D. Gangane is Professor and Head of Anatomy at Terna Medical College, Navi Mumbai presently. Earlier, he served as Head, Department of Anatomy at Grant Government Medical College and Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai for more than a decade. His previously published books Human Genetics, Viva Voce in Anatomy, Dissector and Textbook of Embryology have found great favor amongst the students and the faculty members. Dr. Shabana M. Borate is Associate Professor of Anatomy, Genetic Division, Grant Government Medical College and Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She has been serving as a faculty since 2002. She is one of the authors for the book Textbook of Embryology. Dr. Shabana has contributed to the Dissector, Volume I.
