About the Editor-in-chief
Prof Sumit Sinha completed his neurosurgical training from All India Institute of Medical
Sciences, New Delhi. He gained significant surgical expertise in the field of minimally invasive,
endoscopic and Keyhole neurosurgery and Spine surgery, having worked at the premier
institute for more than a decade and a half. He is a qualified faculty for AO spine and is actively
involved in research and training of spine surgery with special emphasis on minimally invasive
spine surgery. He has been instrumental in the creation of the cadaveric training and research
facility (CTRF) at AIIMS, New Delhi, the first of its kind facility in India, which was established
with the aim of providing hands on training to the surgical trainees. He has more than 250
research papers and projects to his credit which have been published variously in peer
reviewed national and international journals. His book on Brachial Plexus Injuries is already a
widely read and well acclaimed book all around the world
